As proud Sponsors of the Premier Football League in St. Kitts and supporters of the development of Sport across the region, Digicel – The Bigger, Better Network is pleased to inform young, aspiring footballers in St. Kitts and Nevis that they will soon be granted the opportunity to perfect their skill of the game. The 2011 Digicel Kick Start Clinic will soon “kick-off” in St. Kitts on October 1st - 4th, where young boys born between 1995 – 1997 will be receive training and mentoring from England and Liverpool football legend, John Barnes. 
Over the four days of the Clinic, a total of thirty (30) boys across St. Kitts and Nevis will engage in football training sessions with hopes of being selected by Barnes to attend the Digicel Academy in Trinidad. The week-long training camp at the Digicel Academy will host the crème de la crème of the region’s talent where they will receive expert coaching in the beautiful game. The Digicel Academy will also host a ‘coach the coaches’ seminar in which coaches from across the region will get expert training from Sunderland AFC’s finest teachers.

Prior to the commencement of the Kick Start Clinic on October 1st, Digicel and the local SKNFA is giving all youngsters, born between 1995-1997, the opportunity to take part in the Pre-Clinic Sessions from September 15th – 29th. The purpose of the Pre-Clinic Sessions, which will be facilitated by the local SKNFA, is to select those thirty (30) boys who will receive world-class training from John Barnes during the Clinics on October 1st-4th. Those interested are encouraged to register at the Football House on Lozack Road in Basseterre, St. Kitts or the Digicel Office in Charlestown, Nevis.

The Digicel Kick Start Clinic is fully endorsed by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) and Sunderland AFC. This year, eight countries across the Caribbean, Central America and in New York during September, October and November will benefit.
