Digicel Panama, No. 1 sponsor and fan of national football, announced that Digicel Clinics are back for the third consecutive year, once again with the participation of former Liverpool player John Barnes, on September 23rd, 24th and 25th, 2011.

Therefore the calling period had just started for the regional pre-clinics where young Panamanians from different provinces can demonstrate their talent and try to win a place at the Digicel Premier Clinics with John Barnes.
These clinics will take place in Chiriquí, Chorrera, Colón, Panama City and Santiago. The details on dates, times and locations for the pre-clinics:

To participate in this great opportunity, as a requirement, applicants must have been born in 1995, 1996 or 1997 (carrying an ID that proves the year of birth or birth certificate). Applicants will be evaluated by trained coaches of the Panamanian League of Football and PANDEPORTES, taking into consideration their abilities, skills with the ball and group collaboration.

Among the 25 pre-selected ones, this year 4 young talents will have the opportunity to attend the Digicel Football Academy in Trinidad and Tobago, where they will receive training for one (1) week by the technicians of the Light Academy of Sunderland AFC, having with this the opportunity to become prospects to be part of this great team of the British Premier League.

Digicel Premier Clinics successfully started four years ago in the Caribbean, providing an opportunity for many young people to excel through football. Now they are being held for the third consecutive year in Panama in order to keep promoting national football and recognize the great talent of young players.
